Hengshui High School stands in the City of Hengshui, which is at the intersection of the Railway from Shijiazhuang to Dezhou and the railway from Beijing to Jiulong. It is only 300km to Beijing, nearly 3 hours by train, and 140km to Shijiazhuang, one and a half hours by train.
The school established in 1951. In 1978, the school was defined one of the first key schools by the Educational Department of Hebei Province. The school covers an area of 200 mu. There are 60 classes and 3,800 students here.
There are 300 teachers and workers in the school , including 6 teachers of a special classification, 68 high level teachers.
Our general goal is to develop the students’ creative spirits and practical ability. According to our tentative statistics, 58 students of Hengshui High School won prizes in international or national competitions, and more than 390 students of the school won prizes in the provincial competitions. The school has quickened its advance of building of basic institutions.  We are expecting the following co-operations:
1.To set up friend schools, to develope teaching and other sides’ co-operation;
2.To form the homestay system, that is , to send some students to the other side to study and live in vacation;
3.To send teachers to the other side to learn language culture and educational operation regularly;
4.To send the educational information to each other, to give the teaching material to each other.
